Am 9. Juni findet wieder der "world wide knit in public day" statt, also sozusagen der internationale Tag des Strickens, an dem sich StrickerInnen an einem öffentlichen Ort treffen, um gemeinsam ihrem Hobby zu fröhnen. Wie findet ihr die Idee? Würdet ihr selbst gern bei einem Treffen in eurer Nähe dabei sein oder sogar selbst eins organisieren wollen?
On June 9th again there will be the "world wide knit in public day", so to say the international day of knitting on which knitters will meet in public places in order to join their hobby with others. What do you think about this idea? Would you be a part of a meeting in your region or would you even organize a meeting by yourself?
Habe das erste Mal vom World Wide Knit in Public Day gehört und finde die Idee ganz toll. Ich würde gerne erstmal an einem solchen Treffen teilnehmen, um zu sehen, was man sich allgemein darunter so vorzustellen hat. Vielleicht würde ich in den kommenden Jahren auch selbst etwas veranstalten.
I have just heard the first time from the World Wide Knit in Public Day and I find this idea great. I would like to join such a meeting in order to see what one has to anticipate. Maybe I would organize a meeting in the following years of my own.
